TwoFold doesn't have accounts, doesn't use cookies, and doesn't collect anything that identifies you.

What's stored on your device

Your progress on the current puzzle (which letters you've found, whether you've seen the how-to screen) is saved in your browser's local storage so you can close the tab and pick up where you left off. It never leaves your device.

What's sent to our server

Anonymous gameplay statistics only: which puzzle, which step, whether a hint was used, how long a puzzle took. Each of these is its own standalone record with no cookie, no IP address, and no account identifier attached to it, so there's no way to link separate visits together or to you personally.

Fonts

Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. Loading a font, like loading any resource from another server, shares your browser's IP address with that server as part of the request. That's the same as visiting any site that uses a font or image hosted elsewhere.
